World Water Day!

Today is the 17th International World Water Day! Founded after a recommendation in 1992 by the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), the United Nations General Assembly formally designated March 22, 1993 as the first World Water Day. This day is a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

And today starts the week long Tap Project which might be taking place in a city near you: http://www.tapproject.org/
Support your local restaurants which are taking part in this great event!

Lastly, a great water blog I recently found, written by someone who works for Water Advocates:
