A Streetcar Named Inspire

Like most big U.S. cities, New Orleans recently had a community art project...streetcars! Here are just a few that I stumbled upon during my visit. For more information about the artist, etc click on the name in quotations. I found a cool website that described each one (www.streetcarart.com).

This one was near my hotel - "They All Asked For You"

In front of the Whole Foods on Magazine Street - "The Bottlecaps"

This one featured Emeril - "Meals on Wheels"

Near Lafayette Square - "The Flavor of New Orleans"

Outside the Shell building - "Creative Energy On Track"

There was even one at the airport - "Raven"

Found this one on St. Charles Ave...oh wait, this is a real one!
So we rode out to the western part of town...
