My trip to Pittsburgh a few weekends ago was all about food. 1st stop Primanti Brothers...of course this isn't my sandwich:
Then off to the
National Aviary to watch them feed all the birds:
The rainbow lorikeets were so colorful...and noisy:
rhinoceros hornbill:
victoria crowned pigeon:
white-collared kingfisher (I think) taking off from a perch:
double crested cormorant (I think):
one of my favorite birds...brown pelicans:
american flamingos:
golden-breasted starling:
scarlet ibis:
two-toed sloth (okay, so there weren't only birds there):

I went with my friends C&C...awww:
Our last stop was the Andy Warhol museum, but not before getting our donuts! The reason we went to Pittsburgh was for the fresh, hand-made donuts at the Grand Concourse Sunday brunch:
mmmm, donuts...and yes, they were worth the trip!
