My last day in LA I decided to visit The Getty since I had never been. Amazing what you can collect and the legacy complex you can leave behind if you own an oil company.
I took the architectural tour, and let's just say I got carried away taking pictures of the amazing buildings and grounds...
Amazing views...you could see downtown LA to the east, and the ocean to the west (yes, it was actually a clear-ish day)
(the infamous 405 in the background - the piece under construction which caused "carmageddon" last summer)
Oh yeah, I actually went INTO some of the buildings and there was some art in there...
